It's no surprise some people are "fired up" and don't they just make the perfect spokespersons for the Tea Bag organization. They represent everything there is about American greed and capitalism. COEs everywhere are scared because their only interest is in their own bottom line and padding their own greedy little pockets no matter what the cost to everyday Americans.

By defrauding the government and honest tax paying citizens they and the rich Republicans have taken this country for a party ride these last eight years, only they're only ones who profited.

Wake up America, stop buying into their scare tactics, national health care is not the road to socialism, it's the best solution for a problem that's been broken for a long time. Wake up America, the party is over, it's time to start paying the piper.

American Greed

Never in my life have I seen such greed in this country as I've witnessed these past eight years. The Bush administration, supported by fellow republicans such as John McCain were greeted with a surplus and have since lead us into the Bankruptcy of America. Least anyone forget, the catalyst of these events were the deregulation of finance, insurance and pharmaceutical companies, corporate tax cuts, Cheney's backdoor give-aways to big oil companies. And just why do oil companies need a tax break in the first place? They don't - with record profits climbing to their highest ever it's done nothing to help this country and everything to line the pockets of greedy stock-holders.

The only thing that has "trickled down" from the wealthiest of our nation is the mentality of greed and entitlement. We've taught a new generation that driving monster SUV's, owning several homes they can't afford, buy into the reality TV drama of being one of the filthy rich with total disregard for our environment and the well-being of our fellow man is our path to success and ticket into the pearly gates of Hilton Heaven.

This is above all else why you hear to distressful calls and accusations from republicans "socialism" he's going to give your money way and "spread the wealth" - when is someone just going to ask John McCain (how many homes doe you own John?) - his running mate Sara Palin (how much did your part just pay for your wardrobe?) what's wrong with sharing the wealth? Doesn't your bible preach to help those who are less fortunate?

Until we learn it's not all about "me" and start to care about others, about our planet and share our resources thus helping everyone to rise together we will be doomed to repeat our mistakes of the past, failed empires that imploded from their own over-abundance and greed. This is your chance American - choose Change, for a better country, a better world.

Bush's Bankruptcy of America

Like every company George W Bush has been a part of, he will be leaving the United States when he leaves office in the same condition - in the toilet. Worldnation.com predicted this in 2000, warned again in 2004 but it did not seem to be an important issue then, or for any republican now. John McCain will continue to strike the "war on terror" fear into the hearts of his conservative base because he has not answers for the economy. I has been a long supporter of the tax breaks for corporate america, the richest of the rich. Headlines come and go, and still no one remembers when asked - John McCain couldn't even tell the press just how many homes he owned. Now, after Bush has removed government regulations on lending, major financial institutions are filing for bankruptcy due to unethical lending practices. If you're middle class or less you can forget about the American dream of owning your own home for years to come. Bush/Cheney give-aways to big oil as contributed to the downfall of the economy as well - what automaker now is touting their big gas guessing SUVs? Indeed, they have all contributed to the rap of the the American economy and are getting out while the getting is good.

The Iraq war, and the war on terrorism is not about national security - it is about controlling oil prices. This has become increasingly evident as reports just released counter the U.S Administrations claims that after the invasion of Iraq the oil fields there would lead to lower prices and prosperity for their nation. Reality is that oil output is still below the level prior to the U.S. invasion and that Iraq has not seen one drop of prosperity since the U.S. occupation, and oil prices continue to rise and fluctuate as they always have at the whims of oil company shareholders. We have alternatives for fuels now, why is it you think automakers are completely making a switch today? Because consumers are sheep, and until it hurts, deep, deep in their pocket books they will never change their ways.
